Concept Fortress




I thought I would do an extended project and create an environment design. I chose a wintry palisade fortress as a brief. After creating some thumbnails I chose what worked well and created a more detailed painting exploring the structure of the environment. Then expanding on the entire scene with detailed paintings of key features of the broader environment.

Creature and key moment design
















I wanted to create a set of varied creature designs, although mainly menacing and monster like. The scene depicted is a key moment storyboard, I wanted to capture the dynamic nature of a moment like this, motion blur and composition are key for this I found.

Gauntlet model





This is a low poly concept model, not so much a game asset. I hope to make a high poly model at some point with more complex texturing and fine details.
